Minsmere birdwatching guide
Minsmere is the RSPB's most famous reserve and the place where avocets returned to breed in Britain in 1947. Reedbed, lagoons, heath and shore pack more breeding species into one site than almost anywhere else in the country, watched from eight hides including the panoramic Island Mere.
